Which safety limits matter?
Contraindications include pheochromocytoma, insulinoma and prior hypersensitivity; diagnostic use also contraindicates glucagonoma. Warnings address serious allergic reactions, blood-pressure increases, hypoglycemia in specific tumor settings, reduced efficacy when liver glycogen is depleted, and a skin reaction reported with continuous infusion.
